In the days leading up to Aaron and I flying back to Switzerland, we both got a bunch of questions about the changing of seasons….
I can tell you with the utmost certainty that YES Switzerland has very similar seasonal changes to those we experience in the US –
When we got back to Switzerland you could immediately feel and smell the difference….. it is now fall. 100 and 50 %.
The leaves are turning yellow primarily…. with some light shades of orange… I haven’t seen any firey red colored leaves yet, like we have in the states….. but so far things are definitely looking different.
Another major change is the crisp morning air . . . that little bit of chilling wind gives an instantaneous autumnal feeling.
The light outside is also very different . . . The days are taking on a gray hue, with the occasional blast of sunlight later in the day….. But that doesn’t last quite as long as before, and it now starts getting dark Far earlier than before . .
One of the big differences from the states that Aaron and I noticed immediately after arriving in Switzerland the First time was how late into the evening it stayed sunny outside . .
It would be 9:00pm and Might start getting a little dark . . .
Now, it’s pitch black as of 8:15pm.
Not sure that there is much more to tell at the moment…….. Just wanted to give you a brief update and I’m also trying to get back on the blogging wagon . . .
I know I was updating regularly for a while there . . . I think it’s similar to drinking water. For me, I really don’t Enjoy drinking water…. but if you Make yourself do it consistently for a while, you start to Crave water ……
So . . . baby steps with getting back on the blogging thing.
OH! I thought of something else…….
I started a new card wall
Those of you that aren’t sure what that is, I will try to dig up a photo of my past card walls to give you a better idea as to what I’m talking about . . . . I assure you it is much better Looking than it is Sounding haha :-)
OK last thing and then it’s breakfast time……..
Oscar is doing Really well….. he definitely missed us So much . . . when we first saw him his body couldn’t stop wiggling, except when he was weaving through our legs or jumping up on us… which I know is a bit frowned upon in the dog-training world . . . however when you have a pup that doesn’t normally do it, yet can’t contain his excitement enough to keep all 4 paws on the ground . . . we don’t scold him…. we hug him right back
We missed him a Lot ….. and we are SO grateful to the Sherk family for taking care of him and keeping him happy for us . . . . .
Feel free to ask any questions or suggest any blogging topics!! It might help to keep these coming more frequently……
We miss everyone already . . . A lot . . . . . .
XOXOXOXOXOXO
